The Combipad is our most versatile practimpad yet. It has been designed with two different playing areas to offer a broad spectrum of opportunities for your practice. One side is made from virgin rubber for snare drum practice and the other is made from our very own black rubber for timpani practice.
There is no other product like this one on the market; designed to be carried easily in luggage, the Combipad enables practice on the move.
Virgin rubber is an expensive material which provides high resistance compared to any other types of rubber. It has a high grade of elasticity and damping with excellent dynamic properties and rebound. In addition, it is designed to resist high impact hits and abrasions. It is a medium hardness rubber that gives a similar rebound to drums.
The timpani side is made with our personal and distinctive black rubber that creates a very similar rebound to that of a 23inch timpani. After testing different materials, our black rubber has proven to be the best material to create this rebound ensuring that it is a fantastic material to practice on.
Plenty of examples of the pad in use can be found on our social media video sections. The pad is long-lasting; however, we advise that sticks such as xylophone or drumsticks are not used on the Practimpad to prevent damage to the rubber playing surface.
The Combipad measures 220mm in diameter and 25mm in height. Both playing surfaces measure 200mm in diameter. The Combipad weighs 1kg.
There are two models: The Combipad original (white) with a nylon base and the Combipad black edition, with a polyethylene base. Both materials are heavy and provide great stability when The Combipad is placed on a flat surface. In addition, two hoops have been placed inside the pad to ensure upmost stability and minimize vibrations.
The Combipad is a very sought-after pad amongst both professional percussionists and students alike.
